How quota works

  • Requests are counted per proxied call.
  • Bandwidth is metered on the response body size. Because the proxy decompresses gzip/brotli responses in transit, bandwidth reflects the decompressed (logical) size, not the compressed wire size.
  • When you exceed a quota, further requests return 429 Too Many Requests until the next period.
  • test_ keys carry an additional rate cap and aren't meant for production traffic.
